"A safe, joyful place to learn — that's what we've built here on Bainbridge."
We started tutoring together before COVID interrupted education and everyone started Zooming. We complement each other and have become tutoring partners and friends.
Sharing our office has allowed us and our students to learn from each other and benefit from this friendly, collegial atmosphere.
We provide one-on-one sessions on Bainbridge Island that create a supportive environment where students can actively participate in learning — and get real support with planning, prioritizing, and completing their work.
Eileen, Jane, and Diane are Washington State certified educators — not just subject matter experts, but trained teachers who know how students learn.
Our tutors bring over 25 combined years of classroom and one-on-one experience helping students on Bainbridge Island and beyond find their footing.
Every session is 100% focused on your student — their questions, their pace, their learning style. No shared sessions, no generic curriculum.
We're your neighbors. Our office is steps from Bainbridge High School and we've been part of this community for years — we care about these kids.
No contracts, no packages, no pressure.
Students don't just improve their grades — they grow in confidence, reduce anxiety, and actually look forward to coming in. That's what we're most proud of.
We're located at 724 Ericksen Ave. NE, Suite 103 — within walking distance of Bainbridge High School.
Eileen, Jane and Diane bring decades of experience and a genuine love for helping students grow into confident, independent learners.
Eileen holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction, a B.S. in Biology, and a Montessori Upper Elementary Teaching Certificate. With over 25 years of classroom experience, she learned to love math by observing her brilliant co-teacher and has been sharing that love ever since. She tutors through pre-calculus — and is a self-described pretty good "homework nag!"
Jane tutors all subjects except chemistry, physics, and math — and is an experienced SAT and ACT prep tutor who also guides students through the college application process. In addition to her teaching certificate, Jane holds an E.S.A. Continuing Certification in Counseling, allowing her to offer deeper support to students and their families.
Diane brings decades of teaching and childcare experience to her work with K–8 learners at Bainbridge Learning Connections. Patient, warm, and endlessly encouraging, she specializes in helping young students build confidence one small win at a time. Diane has a gift for turning tricky concepts into moments of discovery, making lessons feel less like work and more like play. Every child leaves her sessions a little prouder of what they can do.
The proof is in the relationships built and the confidence students carry with them long after they've graduated.
